Egypt’s nine overseas-based players are due to join the national team squad on Monday evening, 21 September, and Tuesday morning, 22 September, ahead of the September international break.
The Egypt camp begins on Thursday, 17 September, as Hossam Hassan’s side prepares for its upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures.
Hossam Hassan has selected a 24-man squad, including nine players based outside Egypt. The travelling group consists of:

Egypt will begin its qualifying campaign against Angola on 25 September at Cairo Stadium. The team will then travel to Juba to face South Sudan on 29 September.
A friendly against South Africa is scheduled for 4 October.
Egypt are in Group B of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Angola, Malawi and South Sudan.
