Mohamed Rayhi joins Al-Hussein SC from Wydad AC on a free transfer

Netherlands and Morocco winger Mohamed Rayhi has joined Jordanian Pro League club Al-Hussein SC from Wydad AC on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old, who plays primarily on the left wing and is right-footed, completed the move on 17 September 2026. He leaves Wydad after two seasons with the Moroccan club, having joined them from Saudi Arabian side Al-Jabalain in July 2024, also on a free transfer.

Rayhi arrives in Jordan with extensive experience across European and Middle Eastern football. He has made 95 appearances in the Dutch second tier, scoring 30 goals and providing 20 assists, while also recording 70 Eredivisie appearances, nine goals and seven assists.

He has also played in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco during a senior career that began in the Netherlands. His record includes 54 Saudi Pro League appearances, with 11 goals and five assists, as well as 34 appearances in the Saudi First Division League, where he scored eight times and supplied five assists.

Rayhi’s most productive season in Morocco came in the 2024-25 Botola Pro campaign. He scored 11 goals and was the competition’s top scorer, an achievement that came during his time with Wydad.

The Eindhoven-born winger developed through PSV’s youth system before progressing to PSV Under-21. He moved into senior football with NEC in 2015 and later played for Sparta Rotterdam, before beginning his spell in Saudi Arabia with Al-Batin in 2020.

His club career has also included Al-Dhafra and Al-Jabalain, while he has represented teams in several domestic cup competitions and the CAF Confederation Cup. Rayhi stands 1.78m tall and is listed with both Dutch and Moroccan nationality.

Al-Hussein SC have secured Rayhi’s services without a transfer fee, with his arrival marking his latest move across the region after two seasons at Wydad.
