Serhou Guirassy commits his future to Borussia Dortmund

Serhou Guirassy has reaffirmed his commitment to Borussia Dortmund, insisting that he never seriously considered leaving the club during the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old striker remains under contract until 2028 and says his focus is firmly on helping Dortmund achieve their ambitions.

“I consciously decided to stay at Borussia Dortmund,” Guirassy explained. He added that a departure had “never been up for discussion” and pointed to his existing contract as another reason for remaining loyal to the Black and Yellows.

“I still have a contract and will always give everything for this club,” the forward said. His comments end speculation that linked him with several potential destinations, including Fenerbahce.

Guirassy is also open to extending his stay beyond the current agreement if his performances remain at their present level. “If I can maintain this level in the coming years, why not?” he said.

The striker also believes he is physically prepared for the challenge ahead. “I feel fit, and we will see what the future has in store for me,” Guirassy added.

His determination was clear in another message to Dortmund supporters: “I still have big plans here!” For now, the striker’s priority is delivering success in black and yellow.
