Cameroon striker Bernard Nguene extends Standard Liège contract until 2029

Cameroonian striker Bernard Nguene has been rewarded for his impressive performances at Standard Liège after signing a contract extension that will keep him at the Belgian club until June 2029, with an option for an additional season.

Nguene joined Standard Liège from French club OGC Nice last January and has quickly established himself within the first-team setup despite his young age.

The 20-year-old has made 20 appearances for Standard Liège’s senior team, contributing two goals and two assists during his time at the club.

His performances have convinced the Belgian side to secure his long-term future, with the new agreement reflecting the club’s confidence in his ability and potential.
