Al Ahly give players four-day break during international schedule

Al Ahly’s coaching staff, led by Moroccan manager Hussein Amouta, have given the squad four days off from training.

The decision follows Al Ahly’s 2-0 victory over Abu Qir Fertilizers in the fifth round of the league.

Wael Gomaa, Al Ahly’s football director, said on the club’s official website that the break had been arranged because the league has been suspended during the international schedule.

Gomaa added that the players completed a training session at Mukhtar El-Tetsh Stadium on the morning of the announcement. Their break will begin tomorrow as part of the club’s preparations for its upcoming commitments.
