Arsenal monitor Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha as Bayern Munich interest grows

Arsenal are monitoring Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha’s situation as the teenager considers his prospects of securing regular first-team football at Anfield.

According to ESPN, Arsenal are keeping track of the 17-year-old’s position, particularly if he is unable to make enough appearances to establish himself in Liverpool’s senior side. A lack of opportunities could lead Ngumoha to consider moving elsewhere for more consistent first-team involvement.

Ngumoha joined Liverpool from the Chelsea Academy in September 2024, having been regarded as one of the most promising young players in English football. He made his senior debut for Liverpool in January 2025.

Liverpool are currently working to secure the winger’s long-term future and Ngumoha is preparing to sign a new contract with the club. However, the ongoing negotiations do not guarantee that he will receive the amount of first-team football he is seeking.
