Greek club Panathinaikos have completed the loan signing of Morocco international Anass Salah-Eddine from Italian side Roma.
The deal was concluded after Panathinaikos took advantage of the fact that the transfer window remains open in Greece.
The agreement includes an option for the Greek club to buy Salah-Eddine next summer, although Panathinaikos are not obliged to make the move permanent.
Salah-Eddine will wear the number five shirt during his time with Panathinaikos.
The defender joined Roma from Dutch club FC Twente in February 2025 for a fee of 8.5m euros. However, he made only three appearances for the Serie A side.
He spent last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven before returning to Roma.
During his time with PSV Eindhoven, Salah-Eddine played 25 matches and provided one assist. He also helped the club win the Dutch league title.
