Al Ahly stand firm on Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim contract renewals

Al Ahly have no plans to alter their position in negotiations over new contracts for Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim.

The club will not offer any additional assurances outside the proposed agreements, nor will it remove the appearance-based clause from the terms being discussed, according to FilGoal.com.

Hany and Yasser are both under contract with Al Ahly until the end of the current season. The two players are hoping the differences between the two sides can be resolved so they can renew their contracts and remain with the club.

Al Ahly have already made what they consider their final offer to the pair. The proposal includes an annual salary of 25 million Egyptian pounds, with a further 10 million Egyptian pounds linked to winning trophies with the club.

The club’s position is that the offer will not be revised by adding payments or guarantees outside the contract, while the appearance percentage clause will remain in place.

Al Ahly have recently extended the contracts of Marwan Attia, Emam Ashour, Mostafa Shobeir, Karim El Debes and Omar Syed Moawad.

Hany and Yasser’s current agreements with Al Ahly expire at the end of this season.
