Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu ruled out of Udinese match with muscle problem

Hakan Calhanoglu has been left out of Inter’s squad for their Serie A meeting with Udinese because of an adductor muscle strain.

The match, which is due to take place shortly, is Inter’s fourth fixture of the Italian top-flight season.

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Inter manager Cristian Chivu decided not to risk the Turkey international after he experienced muscular fatigue in his adductor.

The 32-year-old has made four appearances for the Nerazzurri this season, scoring two goals and providing no assists.

Inter go into the game fourth in the Serie A table with nine points from three matches. Roma lead the standings with a maximum 12 points, while Como are second on 10 points, level with third-placed Lazio.
