Yassine Bounou doubt for Al Hilal’s clash with Al Taawoun, while Crysencio Summerville is fit

Al Hilal goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is a major doubt for Saturday’s Roshn Saudi League match against Al Taawoun, while winger Crysencio Summerville has recovered from injury and is available for selection.

Al Hilal travel to Al Taawoun for the seventh round fixture, which will be played at the home side’s stadium in Buraidah.

According to Saudi newspaper Al Riyadiyah, Bounou’s chances of appearing remain limited after the Morocco international suffered a hamstring injury before Al Hilal’s previous league match against Neom on Monday.

Bounou missed that game at Kingdom Arena, with Mohammed Al Owais taking his place in goal. Al Hilal were beaten 2-0, however, in their sixth-round fixture.

The goalkeeper underwent treatment on Wednesday, but his availability for the trip to Al Qassim remains uncertain. A final decision is expected to be made during Al Hilal’s last training session before the squad departs.

Summerville, by contrast, is expected to be ready to feature against Al Taawoun after recovering from the injury he sustained during the match with Neom.

Al Riyadiyah reported that the Dutch winger’s muscle complaint is minor, leaving him fit to participate normally in Saturday’s game.

Al Hilal currently lead the Roshn Saudi League table with 15 points. They are ahead of Al Nassr and Al Qadsiah on goal difference, with those two clubs occupying second and third place respectively.
