Michael Olise reveals new custom Nike Hypervenom boots

Michael Olise has revealed another personalised Nike Hypervenom, reinforcing his status as the unofficial face of a football-boot line Nike stopped producing years ago.

The Bayern Munich attacker wore the striking pair during the Champions League meeting with Bodø/Glimt.

The boots feature an entirely white Flyknit upper, vivid pink-and-purple Swooshes around the toe and ankle collar, and a blue soleplate. The colour scheme appears to complement the official Champions League ball, although the design is closer to Bayern’s training kit than the match shirt.

Olise’s attachment to the Hypervenom is nothing new. He has worn the model since his professional breakthrough at Crystal Palace, despite Nike replacing it with the Phantom range in 2018 and 2019. Rather than switching to another silo, he has continued to create distinctive versions of the discontinued boot.

His personal touch has often extended beyond the model itself. Olise regularly matches his boots to his team’s colours, whether wearing Crystal Palace’s sky blue or Bayern’s red. He has maintained that freedom without a personal boot sponsorship, reportedly turning down opportunities from brands including Adidas.

Special editions created by MattyBoy90 and Mattias Gollin have further strengthened his reputation as Hypervenom’s most creative ambassador.
