Al Ahly make record-breaking start with 19-0 win over Sak

Al Ahly began their women’s league campaign with a remarkable 19-0 victory over Sak, recording the biggest win in the club’s history.

Awa Kassite led the scoring with five goals, while Nadine Ghazi added four. Nour Youssef scored three, with Habiba Essam and Catherine Nagadia each contributing twice.

Lulu Nasr, Nora Khaled and Hanaa Othman also found the net for Al Ahly in the one-sided contest.

The result surpassed Al Ahly’s previous record victory, a 13-0 win over Al Masry in the previous season.

Masar recorded an even larger victory in the same round, defeating Modern Sport 21-0.

Al Ahly are second in the table, level on points with leaders Masar but behind on goal difference. Sak are 15th and second from bottom without a point.
