Bayern Munich held by Bodø/Glimt despite dominant first half

Bayern Munich were held to a goalless draw by Bodø/Glimt at half-time in the UEFA Champions League after failing to turn sustained pressure into a goal.

Vincent Kompany’s side controlled the opening period and created several clear opportunities, but Bodø/Glimt defended with discipline to keep the score at 0-0.

Luis Diaz tested Haikin with a reflex save from a header in the fifth minute, while Kimmich went even closer in the 35th minute when his powerful effort struck the post.

Bayern had 75% possession but continued to find Haikin in their way. The Bodø/Glimt goalkeeper denied Musiala in the 40th minute before making another save from Kimmich three minutes later.

Those interventions ensured the Norwegian side reached the interval level despite Bayern’s dominance. Bodø/Glimt gradually grew in confidence and began to disrupt Bayern’s short-passing game more effectively.

Bayern must now find a breakthrough after the restart, while Bodø/Glimt can be satisfied with a 0-0 half-time score.
