Their stated target for 2026/27 is a return to the top four, and their opening results have offered encouragement. The Rossoneri beat Torino 2-1 in Turin before defeating Venezia 2-0.

They were held to a 1-1 draw away to Juventus last weekend, but remain unbeaten after three matches.

Lazio therefore go into the contest with a 100% record, while AC Milan have shown consistency but have yet to maintain a winning run across all three fixtures. The home side’s recent success in this head-to-head is another factor in their favour.
