Eliminated from the race for the 2014 World Cup, Morocco is now focusing on friendly matches to prepare for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), which it will host in 2015. After facing South Africa in the last FIFA international break, the Moroccan national team is reportedly considering a friendly match against Belarus in mid-November. The Belarusian football authorities have approached their Moroccan counterparts to organize the match, and the response from the Moroccan Football Federation is yet to be known. Belarus was part of France’s qualifying group for the 2014 World Cup, and the teams met in September 2013, with France winning 4-2.
