France U20 v Ecuador U20: starting line-ups confirmed for Women’s U20 World Cup Group C match
France U20 and Ecuador U20 have announced their starting line-ups for their second Group C match at the Women’s U20 World Cup on Wednesday, 9 September 2026.
France will begin the game in a 4-4-2 formation, with Fernandes selected in goal. The back four consists of Delcroix, Bilombi, captain Bizet and Denizot.
Traore, Roche-Dufour, Bertrand and Rouquet will form the French midfield, while Rafalski and Ekwalla have been chosen to lead the attack.
The French line-up therefore combines a two-player strike partnership with a four-player midfield behind them. Bizet will wear the captain’s armband as France face Ecuador in their second fixture in Group C.
Ecuador have opted for a 4-2-3-1 system. Arauz will start between the posts, with Gomez, Mendoza, Fuentes and Roldan named in defence.

The Ecuadorian formation places three attacking midfielders behind Gurumendi, while Saldarria leads the side as captain from the deeper midfield position.
Both teams have now confirmed their selections for the Group C encounter, with France using two recognised forwards and Ecuador choosing a lone striker supported by an attacking trio.
