The Confederation of African Football has announced the referees for the home and away finals of the Champions League between Al-Ahly of Egypt and Orlando Pirates of South Africa. Algerian Jamel Haimoudi will officiate the first leg, scheduled for November 2 in South Africa, while Gambian Bakary Gassama will oversee the return final in Egypt on November 9. The venue for the return match is yet to be decided by Al-Ahly. In the semi-finals, Orlando Pirates eliminated Tunisians Esperance de Tunis, and Al Ahly emerged victorious against Coton Sport de Garoua.
