The international players of Al Ahly continue their training at the club’s facility despite being granted a 24-hour rest period, as they prepare to face Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League.
Scheduled to take place on Friday, February 16, Al Ahly will face CR Belouizdad in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League in Algeria.
Under the guidance of Swiss coach Marcel Koller, Al Ahly’s international players underwent specialized training on Wednesday as part of the training program outlined by the head coach.
Yesterday, six of Al Ahly’s international players participated in training: Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, Emam Ashour, Mohamed Hani, Yasser Ibrahim, Mahmoud Kahraba, Omar Kamal Abdel-Wahed, and Marwan Mohsen.
However, Mohamed El-Shenawy was absent from the session due to undergoing shoulder surgery following an injury sustained while on duty with the national team during the Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite the brief respite, Al Ahly’s international contingent remains dedicated to maintaining their fitness and tactical readiness for the upcoming crucial match against CR Belouizdad.
Al Ahly’s coaching staff is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the team is well-prepared both physically and mentally for the challenges that lie ahead in the CAF Champions League campaign.
With Al Ahly aiming to secure a positive result in Algeria, the rigorous training sessions and meticulous preparation reflect the club’s commitment to success in continental competition.
