Mostafa El Badry makes El Masry his favourite opponent with fifth goal contribution

Mostafa El Badry continued his impressive record against El Masry by scoring in Suez Petrojet’s Egyptian Premier League match at New Suez Stadium, taking his total involvement in goals against the club to five.

Suez Petrojet faced El Masry in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League, with El Badry putting his side ahead after only seven minutes.

The forward capitalised on an error by goalkeeper Mohamed Ahmed “Seha” before sending a low shot into the net from inside the penalty area. The goal gave Suez Petrojet an early advantage and extended El Badry’s strong personal record against El Masry.

El Badry has now played 10 matches against the club, recording three goals and two assists. His latest strike means he has been directly involved in five goals against El Masry, making them one of the opponents against whom he has been most productive.

His goals against El Masry have come while representing both El Entag El Harby and Suez Petrojet. His two assists in those matches were supplied during spells with Modern Sport and Petrojet.

The latest goal also confirmed El Badry’s importance to Suez Petrojet during the opening stages of the current league campaign. He has appeared in all four of the club’s Egyptian Premier League matches this season and has scored twice.

His other goal this season came against Tala’ea El Gaish, meaning he has found the net against both Tala’ea El Gaish and El Masry in the competition.

El Badry’s record against El Masry is matched by another five-goal contribution tally against Pyramids FC. In those meetings, he has scored three times and provided two assists.

The figures underline the consistency of his performances against the two clubs. Against both El Masry and Pyramids FC, El Badry has reached five direct contributions, although his goals and assists have been distributed differently between the two opponents.

For Suez Petrojet, his early finish against El Masry provided another example of his ability to influence matches quickly. The strike came from a close-range, low effort following the goalkeeper’s mistake, and moved him to two league goals for the season after four appearances.
