Al Ahly’s Moroccan international player, Rida Slim, will be at the disposal of the technical staff for the upcoming match against MC Alger in the fourth round of the group stage matches of the African Champions League.
According to Egyptian outlet “Veto,” Al Ahly’s coaching staff opted not to rush Slim’s participation in the friendly match against Smouha, emphasizing that the Moroccan player will be ready to join the team for the trip to Algeria.
Ahmed Abu-Ghalia, Al Ahly’s doctor, stated four days ago in remarks to the club’s official website, “Rida Slim has successfully completed the natural therapy and rehabilitation program he underwent after his shoulder injury, and has gradually started to participate in training sessions.”
Slim has recovered from the injury he sustained during the match between Al Ahly and South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns in the semifinal of the African League in November last year.
Al Ahly continues its preparations with Slim’s presence for the crucial match against MC Alger in the fourth round of the group stage matches of the African Champions League.
The match between Al Ahly and MC Alger is scheduled for February 16th, specifically at 9:00 PM Cairo time.
It is worth noting that Rida Slim joined Al Ahly’s football team in the summer transfer window for a duration of four sports seasons.
