Benin reveal starting XI for Mexico clash at 2026 Women’s U20 World Cup

Benin have announced the starting line-up for their opening match against Mexico at the 2026 Women’s U20 World Cup in Poland.

The Amazones will begin their campaign at 16:00 GMT, with head coach Ouzerou Abdoulaye naming the side for the first game of the tournament.

Larissa SAIZONOU starts in goal, with Jocelyne TCHETCHRI, Assanath ALASSANE and Hermione LOKOSSOU included in the defensive line-up.

Romaine GANDONOU and Yasminath DJIBRIL are also named in the starting XI, with DJIBRIL selected as captain.

The midfield and attacking options are completed by Deo Gratias EBI, Hosane SOUKOU, Estelle VIDINHOUEDE, Germaine HONFO and Nailatou SADIKOU.
