Krasava ENY secure Dutch-Ghanaian forward Kevin Brobbey on free transfer

Dutch-Ghanaian centre-forward Kevin Brobbey has joined Cypriot club Krasava ENY from Romanian side FC Arges on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old completed the move on 4 September 2026 and has signed a contract running until 31 May 2027. Brobbey will continue his career in the Cyprus League after leaving the Romanian SuperLiga, where he was registered with FC Arges.

Brobbey brings extensive experience of European football to Krasava ENY, having played in the Netherlands, Scotland, the Czech Republic, Austria, England, Romania, Turkey and Saudi Arabia during his career. He has also featured in the Europa League and Europa League qualifying.

The Eindhoven-born forward has made 93 appearances in the SuperLiga, scoring 19 goals and providing three assists. He has also recorded 35 appearances and six goals in the Czech Republic’s Chance Liga, while his career includes 14 goals in 32 appearances in the SuperLiga relegation group.

Brobbey began his senior career with Scottish club Ross County after progressing through the youth system at AZ Alkmaar. He later represented Slovan Liberec, SKN St Polten, Northampton and Almere City before moving into Romanian football.

His Romanian career included spells with ACSM Poli Iasi, FC Viitorul, Sepsi OSK, FC Rapid 1923, UTA Arad, FC Buzau and FC Arges. He also played for Kayserispor in Turkey, Al-Batin in Saudi Arabia and several other clubs during a career spanning more than a decade.

Brobbey has won two domestic cup competitions. He lifted the Czech Cup with Slovan Liberec in the 2014-15 season and added the Romanian Cup with Sepsi OSK in 2021-22.

Krasava ENY have now added an experienced centre-forward to their squad, with Brobbey’s move confirmed as a free transfer from FC Arges and his contract secured through the end of May 2027.
