Casa Pia complete move for Lommel winger Mohamed Salah

Belgian-Moroccan winger Mohamed Salah has joined Casa Pia from Lommel SK, completing a move to the Liga Portugal club on 4 September 2026.

The 22-year-old, who plays primarily on the right wing, arrives in Portugal after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign with Lommel in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. He made two appearances for the club, playing a total of 27 minutes.

Salah is left-footed and stands 1.80m tall. He made both of his league appearances from the bench this season, recording no goals or assists before switching clubs.

His move to Casa Pia represents a step into a new domestic competition after two seasons in senior football with Lommel. The winger joined the Belgian club from Club NXT on 4 August 2024 and spent the following two seasons with the side.

Before moving to Lommel, Salah played for Club NXT, joining the team from Union SG Under-23s in July 2023. His earlier development included time with Union SG Under-21s and Union SG Under-18s, following a spell in the Zulte Waregem youth system.

Salah holds Belgian and Moroccan nationality. His arrival gives Casa Pia another wide attacking option as the club continues its Liga Portugal campaign.

The move also marks the latest stage of a career that has taken Salah from youth football in Belgium to senior competition and now to Portugal. Casa Pia have completed his transfer from Lommel SK, with the 4 September registration date marking the start of his association with the club.
