Aliou Badji: Levadiakos weigh move for Senegal forward

Senegal centre-forward Aliou Badji, currently without a club after leaving Sivasspor, has been linked with a move to Levadiakos in Greece’s Super League 1.

The 28-year-old became unattached on 1 September 2026, ending his time in Turkey after joining Sivasspor from Red Star FC in July 2025. A move to Levadiakos would give Badji a return to club football after his recent departure.

Badji made no appearances in the opening four possible matches of the 2026-27 1. Lig campaign before leaving Sivasspor. He is listed with a market value of €500,000.

The striker has spent much of his career moving between clubs in Europe and Egypt. He joined Al Ahly from Rapid Vienna in January 2020 and won the CAF Champions League, Egyptian league and Egyptian Cup during the 2019-20 season.

Badji began his senior career with Casa Sports in Senegal before moving to Swedish club Djurgarden in January 2017. He later played for Rapid Vienna, Ankaragucu, Amiens, Bordeaux, Gaziantep, Red Star and Sivasspor.

The reported interest from Levadiakos comes with Badji’s playing status unresolved following his departure from Sivasspor. No agreement has been confirmed, and the Senegal striker remains without a club.
