Slough recruit Stevie Bausor on loan as Leicester goalkeeper makes National League South switch

English-South African goalkeeper Stevie Bausor has joined Slough on loan from Leicester U21, completing a move to the National League South club on 3 September 2026.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper will remain with Slough until 3 October, when the loan is scheduled to end and he is due to return to Leicester U21. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.

Bausor began his development with Leicester’s youth set-up before progressing to the club’s under-18 side in July 2022. He stepped up to Leicester U21 two years later, moving into the club’s pathway towards senior football.

His switch to Slough takes him from Leicester’s Premier League 2 environment into the National League South. The move gives Bausor a spell with a senior club while remaining part of Leicester’s structure, with his registration due to revert to the under-21 side at the conclusion of the loan.

Bausor is listed as a goalkeeper and holds English and South African nationality. He was included in Leicester’s 2026-27 playing group across League One, Premier League 2, the EFL Cup and National League Cup, although he had not made an appearance in those competitions at the time of the move.

Slough’s new goalkeeper arrives during the opening stages of the 2026-27 campaign. The club’s schedule includes National League South football, while Leicester U21’s competitive programme is centred on Premier League 2, placing Bausor in a different level of domestic competition during his temporary move.

The transfer marks the latest step in a Leicester career that has taken Bausor from the youth ranks to the under-21 squad. His earlier progression came through Leicester’s academy, where he moved from the club’s youth team to the under-18s before joining the development side.

Bausor’s arrival gives Slough a goalkeeper from the Leicester system for the period covered by the agreement, with the move formally completed on 3 September 2026.
