Moroccan-Belgian winger Ilyas Lefrancq leaves Patro Eisden

Moroccan-Belgian winger Ilyas Lefrancq has left Patro Eisden and is now without a club after ending his time with the Challenger Pro League side. The 22-year-old’s departure was completed on 3 September 2026.

Lefrancq joined Patro Eisden from AEK Athens B in July 2025 on a free transfer. He spent the 2025-26 season with the Belgian club before making one appearance in the 2026-27 Challenger Pro League campaign.

The left winger featured for four minutes this season, coming off the bench without scoring or registering an assist. He did not start any of the club’s first three possible league games and completed his Patro Eisden spell with one competitive appearance.

A specialist on the left side of attack, Lefrancq is left-footed and stands 1.75m tall. He was born in Uccle and holds Moroccan and Belgian nationality.

Before moving to Greece, Lefrancq spent the 2023-24 season with AEK Athens B, also arriving there as a free transfer from KV Mechelen. His route through Belgian football began at OH Leuven, where he progressed from the youth set-up to the under-21 and under-23 teams.

His senior experience remains limited. Lefrancq’s recorded career appearance in the Challenger Pro League consists of 12 minutes, while his most recent season has added a further brief outing in the competition.

The change leaves Lefrancq available after a year at Patro Eisden, following his previous spells with AEK Athens B and KV Mechelen. His transfer record also includes moves through OH Leuven’s development sides, where he remained before establishing himself in senior football.

Lefrancq, whose market value is listed at €200,000, has therefore moved on from Patro Eisden without a new club attached to the transfer. His latest club change was completed on 3 September 2026.
