Yann Gboho linked with Kansas City move from Toulouse
Yann Gboho, the French-Ivorian winger at Toulouse, has been linked with a move to Kansas City in Major League Soccer.
Gboho, 25, has started both of Toulouse’s Ligue 1 matches in the 2026-27 season, recording one assist and playing 94% of the available minutes. He operates primarily on the left wing and is right-footed.
The midfielder joined Toulouse from Cercle Brugge in January 2024 in a €2.5m transfer. He had moved to the Belgian club from Stade Rennais on a free transfer in August 2022 after a loan spell with Vitesse.
Gboho’s current market value is listed at €18m, while his contract with Toulouse runs until 30 June 2027. Those figures could make any potential move a significant transaction for Kansas City, although the rumour does not include a proposed fee or an indication that negotiations have begun.
Gboho came through Rennes’ academy and won the French Cup with the club in the 2018-19 season. He has made two Ligue 1 appearances so far this campaign, contributing directly to a goal in half of Toulouse’s matches.
The reported link comes with Gboho established in Toulouse’s starting line-up at the beginning of the season, but there has been no confirmation of a transfer agreement.
