Frydek-Mistek sign Nigeria winger Stanley Charles on loan until December

Nigeria winger Stanley Charles has joined Frydek-Mistek from fellow Czech club Trinec on loan, adding the 23-year-old right-sided attacker to their squad until 31 December 2026.

Charles completed the move on 2 September and will move from the ChNL to the MSFL, where Frydek-Mistek compete. The transfer is his latest change of club in Czech football, having spent the 2025-26 season with Trinec after joining them from Banik Ostrava B on 6 August 2025.

The winger has already made three appearances during the opening stages of the 2026-27 campaign. He played once in the Chance Narodni Liga and twice in the MOL Cup, although he has not scored or provided an assist in those matches.

His involvement has been greater in the cup, where he has started one of his two games and played 106 minutes in total. In league competition, he has made a single appearance, playing 11 minutes. Charles now leaves Trinec with the temporary move taking him into a different division for the remainder of the calendar year.

The Nigerian began his senior career with Banik Ostrava B, joining the club from Supreme Kings in July 2022. He subsequently spent periods on loan with HS Kromeriz, Rosice and Zlinsko before returning to Banik Ostrava B and later moving permanently to Trinec.

Charles’ previous loan spells included a move to HS Kromeriz during the 2023-24 season, followed by a temporary switch to Rosice later in that campaign. He joined Zlinsko on loan for the 2024-25 season and returned to Banik Ostrava B at the end of that arrangement before making the move to Trinec.

The 23-year-old’s career record also includes two MOL Cup appearances during the current season, but he has yet to register a goal in the competition. His new club has secured his services for the rest of 2026, with the agreement scheduled to conclude at the end of December.

Charles is therefore set to return to Trinec when the loan expires on 31 December 2026, with Frydek-Mistek his latest destination in a series of moves through the Czech football system.
