Morocco-Spain winger Nordin Al-Lal makes Extremadura switch
Nordin Al-Lal, the 21-year-old Morocco and Spain winger, has joined CD Extremadura from Elche Ilicitano on loan.
The right winger’s move was completed on 1 September 2026, taking him from Spain’s Segunda Federacion – Group III to Extremadura’s Primera Federacion – Group I. The loan agreement runs until 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Elche Ilicitano.
Al-Lal arrives after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with CF Talavera, also on loan from Elche Ilicitano. He joined Talavera on 2 February 2026 before returning to Elche Ilicitano at the end of June.
Born in Melilla on 14 February 2005, Al-Lal has represented both Morocco and Spain through his nationality. He is listed as a right winger and prefers his right foot. The 1.78m player began his development with Rusadir Under-19s before moving to Elche CF’s youth set-up in April 2021.
Al-Lal stepped up to Elche Under-19s in July 2022 and moved into the Elche Ilicitano squad two years later. His latest switch marks another temporary move within the Spanish league system, with Extremadura becoming his latest club for the 2026-27 campaign.
His market value is listed at €100,000, while no transfer fee has been disclosed for the loan. The move gives Extremadura a player who has spent recent seasons progressing through Spanish youth and reserve football before gaining experience at senior level with CF Talavera and Elche Ilicitano.
Al-Lal’s arrival is recorded as a completed loan transfer, with his temporary spell at CD Extremadura contracted through to 30 June 2027.
