Robinio Vaz joins Hull City from Roma in €2m loan switch

Robinio Vaz, the France and Guinea-Bissau centre-forward, has joined Hull City from Roma on loan in a €2m deal.

The 19-year-old has moved to the Premier League club for the 2026-27 season, with the loan scheduled to run until 30 June 2027. Vaz’s arrival gives Hull a young attacking option after he spent the opening part of the campaign with Roma in Serie A.

Vaz joined Roma from Marseille in January 2026 for €22m. He made the move after progressing from Marseille B, having initially joined the French club from Sochaux Under-19s for €200,000 in August 2024.

The forward was born in Mantes-la-Jolie and stands 1.85m tall. He is right-footed and plays primarily through the middle as a centre-forward.

His move to Hull represents his third senior-club change since leaving Sochaux’s youth set-up. He began his development with Mantois before joining Sochaux Under-17s in 2022, then stepped up to the Under-19 side a year later.

Vaz has joined Hull with his current deal running until 30 June 2027. His transfer takes place on 1 September 2026, and Roma are due to resume his registration when the loan ends.

The move follows a brief spell at Roma, where Vaz arrived as a €22m signing from Marseille earlier in 2026. His transfer to Hull is a loan rather than a permanent departure from the Italian club, with the agreed fee set at €2m.

Vaz is now a Hull City player on loan from Roma until 30 June 2027.
