Athl Palermo bring in Cremonese forward Nouroudine Faye for Serie D campaign

Italian-Senegalese centre-forward Nouroudine Faye has joined Athl Palermo from Cremonese U19 on loan, with the 19-year-old’s move completed on 1 September 2026.

Faye will spend the 2026-27 season with the Serie D – I side after progressing through Cremonese’s youth system. The forward joined Cremonese U17 in January 2023 from Cremonese’s youth team before moving up to the Under-19 squad in July of the same year.

The right-footed striker has made 42 appearances in Primavera 1, scoring twice and providing four assists. He has also recorded four goals in 15 Primavera 2 appearances, while his Under-17 record includes 16 goals across 30 matches in the Under-17 A and Under-17 B competitions.

His most productive spell came in the Under-17 divisions, where he scored nine times in 17 appearances in Under-17 A and added seven goals and one assist in 13 matches in Under-17 B. Faye also played in the Primavera Cup and Supercoppa Primavera 2 during his time with Cremonese’s youth teams.

The move marks his first recorded switch away from Cremonese and takes him from the Primavera 2 – A level into senior football with Athl Palermo. He has not made a Serie A appearance for Cremonese, with his competitive record to date coming entirely in youth competitions.

Faye’s contract arrangement with Cremonese extends through the loan period, which ends on 30 June 2027. He is scheduled to return to Cremonese at the conclusion of the agreement.

The completed loan places the Italy- and Senegal-eligible forward at Athl Palermo until 30 June 2027.
