Brest strengthen attack with France-Cameroon winger Noah Edjouma on loan

France-Cameroon winger Noah Edjouma has joined Stade Brestois from Lille on loan, giving the Ligue 1 club a new option on the right side of attack.

The 20-year-old’s move to Brest began on 1 September 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027. No permanent transfer fee has been announced for the loan, which keeps Edjouma with the French top-flight side for the remainder of the 2026-27 season.

Edjouma is a left-footed right winger who was born in Clamart and stands 1.82m tall. He has been registered with Brest’s senior squad, although he has not made an appearance in the club’s opening two possible Ligue 1 matches of the campaign.

The move gives Edjouma a fresh opportunity after joining Lille from Toulouse in February 2026 in a €5m transfer. He made that switch after progressing from Toulouse’s youth structure to the club’s reserve side and then the senior team.

His route through the game began with Toulouse FC’s under-17 side in 2020, before he moved into the club’s under-19 team in 2023. He stepped up to Toulouse B in January 2025 and subsequently moved into senior football with the first team.

Edjouma’s market value is listed at €5m, matching the fee recorded for his move from Toulouse to Lille. His latest transfer is the second senior club change of 2026 and keeps him in Ligue 1, where Brest will have him available through the end of June 2027.

The winger’s temporary switch from Lille to Stade Brestois was completed on 1 September 2026.
