Seychelles-Wales midfielder Tyrone Cadeau has joined Briton Ferry from Hanley Town on a free transfer, completing his move to the Cymru Premier club on 1 September 2026.

The 22-year-old defensive midfielder moves to Wales after spending the previous season with Hanley Town. Cadeau joined the English club from Newcastle Town in October 2025, also on a free transfer, and now returns to the Welsh football system with Briton Ferry.

Born in Cimla, Neath, Cadeau holds both Seychelles and Welsh nationality. He is 1.92m tall and favours his right foot, attributes that form part of his profile as a defensive midfielder.

Cadeau began his senior career in Welsh football with Brit Ferry Under-19s before moving to Port Vale Under-18s in July 2022. He later spent part of the 2022-23 season on loan at Matlock, returning to Port Vale’s youth set-up in March 2023.

The midfielder subsequently joined Kidsgrove Athletic in July 2023 and moved to Stafford a year later. His time at Stafford ended in November 2024, before he joined Newcastle Town in July 2025. That spell lasted until his move to Hanley Town later in the same year.

Cadeau’s latest switch brings him into Briton Ferry’s Cymru Premier squad, with the club becoming the latest side in a career that has included football in both England and Wales. He has also previously been associated with Pontardawe’s youth and development teams.

His most recent recorded campaign with Briton Ferry includes appearances in the Cymru South and Welsh Cup, with the midfielder featuring in five league matches and one cup game. The move gives him a return to a Welsh senior club after his recent spells in the English non-league system.

Cadeau joins Briton Ferry without a transfer fee from Hanley Town.
