SCC Mohammedia strengthen defence with Morocco centre-back Youssef Aoujdal

Morocco centre-back Youssef Aoujdal has joined SCC Mohammedia from RCA Zemamra, bringing the 24-year-old defender to the club on a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Aoujdal completed the move on 1 September 2026 after one season with RCA Zemamra. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the switch.

The right-footed defender, who stands 1.81m tall, made his most recent move to RCA Zemamra from CA Khenifra on 19 August 2025. He now moves on to SCC Mohammedia as the latest step in a senior career spent entirely in Morocco.

Aoujdal has recorded six appearances across the Excellence Cup and Coupe du Trone Marocaine, playing 540 minutes in total. He has also been registered in the Botola Pro Inwi, although no appearances are recorded in the competition.

His career began with Raja Youth before he moved to AM Football in July 2018. He joined MAS Fes Reserve in September 2021 and transferred to RCA Reserve later in the same season. Aoujdal then left the reserve side for Fath Casablanca in September 2023, joining CA Khenifra a year later.

The defender’s arrival continues a sequence of moves between Moroccan clubs since he left the Raja youth set-up. His previous transfers from RCA Reserve to Fath Casablanca and from Fath Casablanca to CA Khenifra were both completed as free transfers, while he subsequently moved to RCA Zemamra before making the latest switch.

Aoujdal’s market value is recorded at €10,000, while the highest value listed during his career was €25,000. Those figures do not represent the fee for his move to SCC Mohammedia.

Born on 2 January 2002, Aoujdal has spent his career in Moroccan football and is listed primarily as a centre-back. His contract with SCC Mohammedia takes effect from 1 September 2026 and keeps him at the club until the end of June 2027.

The move gives SCC Mohammedia a defender with experience across Morocco’s domestic competitions, while Aoujdal leaves RCA Zemamra after one season. He is now contracted to SCC Mohammedia through 30 June 2027.
