French-Ivorian midfielder Marc-Olivier Doue has joined Cadiz CF from Castellon, completing a move between two LaLiga2 clubs.

The 25-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract with Cadiz running until 30 June 2030. Doue’s switch was registered on 1 September 2026, with no transfer fee disclosed.

Doue moves to Cadiz after spending the previous season with Castellon. He joined Castellon from Ponferradina on a free transfer on 4 July 2025 and made two LaLiga2 appearances during the current campaign, playing 48 minutes.

Born in Bordeaux, Doue began his youth career with Bordeaux before later moving to the Netherlands, where he joined PEC Zwolle’s under-21 side in October 2018. He progressed into the senior team in 2020 and left the club for Belgian side RE Virton in August 2021.

Doue returned to Spain in July 2023, joining Eldense on a free transfer. He spent one season there before moving to Ponferradina, also without a fee, in August 2024. His subsequent switch to Castellon marked his return to Spain’s second tier before the latest move to Cadiz.

The midfielder is listed at 1.85m and is right-footed. His arrival adds a player with experience of LaLiga2 to the Cadiz squad, following his appearances for Castellon at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Doue holds French and Ivorian nationality and has represented neither country at senior international level in the information available. His playing career has included spells in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain, with Cadiz becoming his latest club.

Cadiz have now secured Doue’s services on a contract lasting almost four years, with the midfielder officially joining the club from Castellon on 1 September 2026.
