Temi Ajibola leaves Flint Town after six-game Cymru Premier spell
Italy-Nigeria centre-forward Temi Ajibola has left Flint Town and is now without a club after ending his brief spell with the Welsh side.
Ajibola, 25, joined Flint Town from Republic of Ireland club Finn Harps on 27 July 2026, but his time at the Cymru Premier side lasted little more than a month. He made six appearances during the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign, starting in 67% of possible matches and playing 73% of the available minutes.
The 1.95m striker did not score or provide an assist in those six games. He received one yellow card and finished the spell without a goal involvement.
Born in Borgo Val di Taro, Italy, Ajibola holds Italian and Nigerian nationality. He is a right-footed centre-forward and has spent much of his senior career moving between clubs in different European and British football environments.
Before arriving in Wales, Ajibola played for Finn Harps, joining the club from German side Idar-Oberstein on 1 January 2026. His move to Flint Town followed six months later, with both transfers recorded without a fee.
Ajibola began his senior career after leaving Parma’s youth system for Italian club Lentigione in January 2020. He subsequently played in England for Whitchurch, Ramsbottom and Prestwich Heys, before moving to Sweden with Ytterhogdals IK in February 2024.
He returned to Germany later that year, joining G. Halberstadt from Ytterhogdals IK on 1 July 2024. A move to Idar-Oberstein followed in July 2025, before his switch to Finn Harps at the start of 2026.
The departure from Flint Town is the latest change in a career that has taken the forward through clubs in Italy, England, Sweden, Germany, Ireland and Wales. His latest transfer was registered on 1 September 2026, when he left Flint Town and became unattached.
