French-Comorian midfielder Chaihane Badoro makes free move to Livorno

Livorno have signed 18-year-old French-Comorian central midfielder Chaihane Badoro from Monaco U19 on a free transfer.

Badoro joined the Italian club on 1 September 2026, switching from Monaco’s under-19 side to Livorno, who compete in Serie C – Group B. The move takes him out of the youth competition structure in France and into the senior Italian league system.

The left-footed midfielder had been part of Monaco’s academy pathway. He moved from AS Monaco U17 to Monaco U19 on 1 July 2025, spending the 2025-26 season with the club’s under-19 team before completing his switch to Italy.

Badoro is listed as a central midfielder and has represented both France and Comoros at nationality level. He was born on 13 March 2008 and is 18 years old.

His final period with Monaco U19 came in the Championnat National U19 – Groupe D during the 2026-27 campaign. Before leaving, he had been included across two possible league matches but had not made an appearance, and had no recorded goals or assists.

The transfer gives Badoro a new club after a year with Monaco’s under-19 squad and follows his earlier progression from the club’s under-17 setup. Livorno’s move was completed without a transfer fee, with the player’s arrival formally recorded on 1 September 2026.
