Millwall U21 bring in England-Ghana centre-back Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw from Norwich
England and Ghana defender Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw has joined Millwall U21 from Norwich U21 on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old centre-back switches clubs after spending the 2025-26 campaign with Norwich U21, having moved into the club’s under-21 squad from Norwich U18 in July 2025. His transfer to Millwall was completed on 1 September 2026.
Ofori-Manteaw began his time with Norwich’s youth structure in July 2023, when he moved from Norwich’s youth side to the club’s under-18 team. He made 47 appearances in the U18 Premier League, scoring four goals during that period.
He also featured in the FA Youth Cup, making three appearances and recording one assist. His under-21 experience includes three Premier League 2 appearances, with 40 minutes played, as well as one appearance in the Premier League International Cup U21.
The defender spent part of the 2025-26 season away from Norwich on loan at Lowestoft. That spell began on 15 October 2025 before he returned to Norwich U21 on 22 December, with the move recorded as the end of his loan.
Ofori-Manteaw’s arrival gives Millwall U21 a defender with experience across academy football and exposure to under-21 competition. His playing background has been concentrated at centre-back, and he joins the club after progressing through Norwich’s youth and development sides.
The move also marks the latest step in a career that has so far been based in England, while the player is eligible to represent both England and Ghana through his listed nationalities.
He joins a Millwall U21 side competing in the club’s development set-up after leaving Norwich U21, where he had been registered since the start of the 2025-26 season. No contract expiry date has been announced for his new agreement.
Ofori-Manteaw completed his free transfer from Norwich U21 to Millwall U21 on 1 September 2026.
