Belgian-Guinean midfielder Mandela Keita is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from Parma to Everton.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder has started both of Parma’s Serie A matches this season, playing 165 minutes in total, and also made one substitute appearance in the Italy Cup. The reported interest comes with Keita’s market value listed at €20m, although no transfer fee has been indicated for a potential move to Everton.

Keita joined Parma from Royal Antwerp on 30 August 2024 in a deal worth €11.9m. He had previously spent time with Antwerp during a loan spell from OH Leuven before making the move permanent in the summer of 2024.

His current contract with Parma runs until 30 June 2029, meaning the Italian club are not facing an imminent expiry that would force a decision over his future. Keita’s current involvement also suggests he remains part of Parma’s plans at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

Keita began his senior career at OH Leuven and helped Royal Antwerp win the Belgian title in the 2022-23 season, as well as the Belgian Cup in 2023. The reported link with Everton would represent a move from Serie A to the Premier League, but the transfer remains at the rumour stage.
