Abde Ezzalzouli emerges as Crystal Palace target in Premier League transfer talk
Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli is being linked with a move from Real Betis to Crystal Palace, with the Premier League club named as a potential destination for the 24-year-old.
Ezzalzouli remains under contract with Betis until 30 June 2029 and has a listed market value of €40m. The left winger joined the Spanish club from Barcelona on 1 September 2023 in a deal worth €7.5m.
He has made one La Liga appearance this season, playing 16 minutes. Ezzalzouli’s current campaign comes after an international period in which he was part of Morocco’s Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad in 2025.
The player was born in Beni Mellal and can represent Morocco and Spain internationally, but has been involved in Morocco’s recent success. He also helped Morocco’s under-23 side win the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations in 2023, finishing as the tournament’s leading scorer with three goals.
Ezzalzouli began his senior career with Hercules before moving through Barcelona’s system and spending the 2022-23 season on loan at Osasuna. He returned to Barcelona before completing his permanent transfer to Betis.
There is no indication that a deal with Crystal Palace has been agreed, and the available information does not include a proposed fee or the likelihood of the move. Ezzalzouli’s long-term Betis contract means the winger remains tied to the La Liga club while the reported Premier League interest develops.
