Nigeria centre-back Suleiman Yusuf makes FC Voluntari II switch from CS Dinamo Buc.
Nigerian defender Suleiman Yusuf has joined FC Voluntari II from CS Dinamo Buc. on a free transfer, completing his move on 1 September 2026.
The 19-year-old centre-back becomes the latest addition to FC Voluntari II after leaving CS Dinamo Buc., where he spent less than a week. Yusuf joined the Romanian side on 26 August before making another move six days later.
Yusuf’s transfer marks a rapid change in clubs at the start of the 2026-27 season. Before his short spell with CS Dinamo Buc., he had been with Katsina Utd., also joining that club as a free transfer.
Born on 18 January 2007, Yusuf is listed as a defender whose main position is at centre-back. His arrival gives FC Voluntari II a teenage Nigeria international-profile defender, although no senior international appearances are recorded with the information available.
The move comes after the opening stage of the 2026-27 campaign. Yusuf’s previous club competed in Liga 2, while FC Voluntari II are his new team following the completed transfer. He had not made a league appearance during the campaign before switching clubs.
Yusuf’s career to date has therefore included two free transfers in the space of six days. His first move took him from Katsina Utd. to CS Dinamo Buc. on 26 August, followed by his departure for FC Voluntari II on 1 September.
FC Voluntari II have now secured the Nigerian defender without paying a transfer fee, with Yusuf’s move from CS Dinamo Buc. officially completed.
