Cody Drameh: Genoa linked with Hull City right-back
Cody Drameh, the England and The Gambia defender at Hull City, is being linked with a move to Genoa in Serie A.
The 24-year-old right-back has a contract with Hull until 30 June 2027, but the Italian club are understood to be considering a move for him. Drameh’s current market value is listed at €3m.
Drameh has made two Premier League appearances for Hull this season, both as a substitute, and played the full 90 minutes in the club’s EFL Cup match. He has not scored or provided an assist in those three appearances.
Hull signed Drameh from Leeds on a free transfer in July 2024. He had previously spent time on loan at Birmingham, Luton and Cardiff during his Leeds career, but established his current club as his next permanent destination after leaving Elland Road.
The potential move would see Drameh leave the Premier League for Serie A while still under contract at Hull. No transfer fee has been disclosed, and the proposed switch remains a rumour rather than a completed deal.
Drameh was born in London and is listed as holding English and Gambian nationality. He has played as a right-back throughout his senior career and remains a Hull City player with two years left on his current contract.
