Warren Bondo: Troyes rumour raises prospect of AC Milan to Ligue 1 switch

French and DR Congo midfielder Warren Bondo is the subject of a rumoured move from AC Milan to Troyes, with the French club linked with a transfer from the Serie A side.

No fee or probability has been attached to the proposed move, and the transfer remains unconfirmed. Bondo is under contract at Milan until 30 June 2029.

The 22-year-old has yet to feature for Milan in Serie A this season, having been an unused player in the opening two possible league matches. He returned to the club in June after a season-long loan at Cremonese came to an end.

Bondo joined Milan from Monza on 3 February 2025 in a deal worth €10.5m. He spent the 2025-26 campaign with Cremonese, where his loan spell has now concluded, before returning to the Milan squad.

A move to Troyes would take Bondo back to France, where he began his senior career with Nancy. He left Nancy for Monza in July 2022 after coming through the club’s youth system.

The midfielder’s current contractual position means any transfer would involve a permanent move or another arrangement agreed with Milan, rather than an imminent free transfer. For now, Bondo remains an AC Milan player, with the rumour placing Troyes among the clubs linked with his next move.
