Bilal Dardari: Luxembourg-Morocco midfielder makes Nurnberg U19 switch
Bilal Dardari, the 17-year-old Luxembourg-Morocco attacking midfielder, has joined Nurnberg U19 from Schalke 04 U19.
Dardari’s move to the German club was completed on 1 September 2026, with the teenager entering Nurnberg’s under-19 setup. The transfer takes him into the U19 Nachwuchsliga, where Nurnberg compete in Group C, after he had been registered in the same competition’s Group H with Schalke.
The midfielder, who is comfortable using either foot, began the 2026-27 campaign with Schalke’s under-19 side before switching clubs. His move represents the latest step in a youth career that has included spells with clubs in Luxembourg and Germany.
Dardari joined Schalke 04 U19 from Dudelingen U17 on 9 January 2025. Before that, he spent time with Dudelingen after moving there from F91 Youth in July 2021. His earliest recorded youth club was Rosport Jugend, where he began in March 2019 before joining F91 Youth.
Born on 19 December 2008, Dardari is eligible to represent both Luxembourg and Morocco. He is listed as an attacking midfielder and has been registered with Nurnberg’s under-19 team for the 2026-27 season.
Nurnberg’s youth side are scheduled to compete in both the DFB-Pokal der Junioren and the U19 DFB-Nachwuchsliga during the campaign. Dardari’s registration comes before the club’s fixtures in those competitions, although he has not yet made an appearance for Nurnberg U19.
The move also marks a change of German club and league group for Dardari, who previously featured in Schalke’s U19 setup. His progression has taken him from youth football in Luxembourg into the German under-19 system.
Dardari has signed a contract with Nurnberg U19 running until 30 June 2028.
