Jean-Philippe Krasso linked with Sampdoria move from Paris FC

Jean-Philippe Krasso, the Ivory Coast forward at Paris FC, has been linked with a move to Sampdoria in Serie B.

Krasso, 29, joined Paris FC from Red Star in July 2024 for a reported €1.5m and remains under contract with the Ligue 1 club until June 2027. The reported interest comes as he has yet to make an appearance for Paris FC this season, having been absent from the starting line-up and unused in the club’s first two possible league games.

The centre-forward was part of the Ivory Coast side that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2024, before moving to Paris after a successful campaign with Red Star in Serbia. He won the Serbian league and cup during the 2023-24 season, his only campaign with the Belgrade club.

Krasso developed in France and previously played for Saint-Etienne, AC Ajaccio, Le Mans FC and SAS Epinal. His current market valuation is listed at €3.5m.

Sampdoria, who are competing in Italy’s second tier, have been identified as the club interested in taking him from Paris FC. No transfer fee or probability has been established, while Krasso’s existing contract means any move would require an agreement before its expiry in June 2027.
