Hoffenheim linked with Lausanne-Sport striker Omar Janneh

Spain and The Gambia forward Omar Janneh is being linked with a move from Lausanne-Sport to Hoffenheim.

The 20-year-old centre-forward could move from Switzerland’s Super League to the Bundesliga, with the German club named as his potential destination.

Janneh has started all five of Lausanne-Sport’s league matches this season, recording one goal and one assist. He has also scored twice and provided one assist in one Swiss Cup appearance.

He joined Lausanne-Sport from Atletico Madrileno on 15 January 2026 in a deal worth €2m. His current market value is listed at €4m, while his contract with the Swiss club runs until 30 June 2030.

Born in Lleida, Spain, Janneh stands 1.88m tall and can use both feet. He developed in Spain before moving to Atletico Madrileno, following youth spells with Espanyol and Granada.

The current link remains a rumour, with no transfer fee, probability or agreement disclosed. Janneh remains a Lausanne-Sport player under contract through 2030.
