Efe Lucky: Nigeria midfielder switches to KF Pogradeci after Lillestrøm departure
Nigeria midfielder Efe Lucky has joined Albanian club KF Pogradeci from Lillestrøm SK on a free transfer.
The 20-year-old central midfielder moves to the Kategoria e Pare side after leaving the Norwegian club, where he had been registered for the 2026-27 season. Lucky’s move was completed on 31 August 2026, bringing an end to his time with Lillestrøm.
Lucky had not featured for Lillestrøm in the Europa League qualifying campaign before his departure. He was listed in the squad for the competition but made no appearances, did not start a match and recorded no goals or assists.
The Nigerian first joined Lillestrøm in March 2024 from FC One Rocket, also on a free transfer. He spent parts of the following two seasons on loan at Asane, returning to Lillestrøm after each spell.
His first loan move to Asane began in August 2024, before he returned to Lillestrøm at the end of December that year. Lucky then went back to Asane on another loan in March 2025, with that agreement ending in December 2025.
Across the transfer moves recorded in his career, Lucky has therefore played for Lillestrøm and Asane in Norway, while his latest switch takes him to Albania. The free transfer follows his latest spell with Lillestrøm and places him at KF Pogradeci for the new chapter of his career.
Lucky’s arrival gives KF Pogradeci a Nigerian midfielder who operates in the centre of the pitch. He was born on 14 January 2006 and is listed at 20 years old.
The move also marks a change of league for the player, from Norway’s top-flight football environment with Lillestrøm to Albania’s Kategoria e Pare. No contract expiry date has been disclosed for his agreement with KF Pogradeci.
Efe Lucky’s transfer to KF Pogradeci was completed on 31 August 2026.
