Trabzonspor emerge as possible destination for Norwich’s Mohamed Toure

Australian-Liberian forward Mohamed Toure is being linked with a move from Norwich to Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor.

Toure, 22, joined Norwich from Danish club Randers FC in February 2026 in a deal worth €3m. He has started the 2026-27 Championship campaign strongly, making three appearances and scoring twice, while also contributing a goal and an assist in one EFL Cup appearance.

The striker’s form comes after he made three appearances for Norwich at the 2026 World Cup, although he did not score in the tournament. He has also featured in every Championship match listed for the club this season, playing 91% of the available minutes.

A move to Trabzonspor would come only seven months after Toure’s arrival at Norwich. The forward’s current contract with the Championship club runs until 30 June 2030, meaning any transfer would involve Norwich deciding whether to part with a player who remains tied to the club for almost four more years.

Toure began his senior career in Australia with Adelaide United before spells connected with Paris FC and Stade Reims B. He moved to Randers FC in July 2024 and scored his first Norwich goals in the opening stages of the current campaign.

The rumour remains unconfirmed, with no transfer fee or probability attached to the reported link. Toure remains a Norwich player under contract until 2030.
