Kemo Ceesay elected new Gambia Football Federation president

Kemo Ceesay has been elected as the new president of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF), succeeding Lamin Kaba Bajo, whose tenure at the helm of Gambian football has come to an end.

Ceesay, a former Finance Director of the GFF, emerged victorious in the federation’s presidential election, marking a change in leadership as Gambian football enters a new chapter.

His election brings an experienced administrator back into the federation’s leadership structure, having previously served in a key financial role within the organisation.

Ceesay takes over from Bajo, who served as GFF president for several years and oversaw a period that included significant developments in Gambian football at both domestic and international level.
