Raja AC complete free transfer for Mounaim El Idrissi
Raja Athletic Club have completed the signing of striker Mounaim El Idrissi on a free transfer after the player successfully passed his medical examinations with the Moroccan giants.
According to reports, El Idrissi underwent his medical tests at Raja’s academy on Saturday and cleared the examinations, paving the way for him to officially join the Green Eagles.
The 25-year-old forward has subsequently signed a contract with Raja that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. He arrives from French side Troyes without the Moroccan club having to pay a transfer.
Raja had already reached a final agreement with the striker two days before the medical, with El Idrissi then travelling to Morocco to complete the remaining formalities and finalise his return to Moroccan football.
The move represents a new chapter for the forward, who developed his footballing skills in France after coming through the youth ranks of Ajaccio. He later gained experience outside France with Belgian club Kortrijk before returning to the French league with Troyes.
El Idrissi now returns to his country of origin to continue his career with one of Morocco’s biggest clubs. Raja will be hoping his experience from spells in both France and Belgium can strengthen their attacking department and provide greater depth in the final third.
His arrival is also part of Raja’s ongoing efforts to reinforce the squad in the current transfer window as the club prepares for the demands of the upcoming season.
The signing was reportedly completed following coordination between Raja head coach Nasreddine Nabi and sporting director Rogerio Matias, who identified the forward as a player capable of adding value to the squad.
With the agreement now finalised, El Idrissi will begin preparations with his new teammates as he looks to make an immediate impact and help Raja achieve their objectives during the 2026–2027 campaign.
